Th3rd Fridays is a dance battle series launched in 2018 by Moov Ottawa Dance's Artistic Directors, Alea "Didi" de Castro and Arnaldo "Bboy Effect" Betancourt Silva. Created in collaboration with various community partners, this initiative aims to provide local street dancers opportunities to shine and the general public a way to connect through music and dance. It is an all-styles dance battle held on the third Friday of the month. It's free for the public and features varying music themes.
