Through a home vigil demonstration, participants will learn about simple, meaningful acts that can help families and communities take part in caring for someone who has died. Organized by En Terre Outaouais and led by educator and death doula Kelly Butler of Community Deathcare Ottawa, participants are invited to explore the ancestral tradition of caring for our beloved dead at home. This in-person fundraiser is for people interested in supporting the Rupert Community Centre or learning more about community deathcare.
