Capital Music Week returns for its second year: nine days, more than 100 artists and around 25 venues, from Southam Hall and the big concert rooms down to neighbourhood cafés and public spaces. Headliners are JUNO-nominated Bif Naked and Tyler Shaw, with Ottawa's Jamie Fine as 2026 ambassador. Alongside the shows there are showcases, industry events and a music business summit. Opening night on October 2 is a DJ and drag show hosted by Jamie Fine; Bif Naked returns the next night for a Women in Music song circle with Kellylee Evans. Individual events range from free to ticketed, and festival passes are sold separately.
